Pay for the memory, not the thinking.

ezmodo runs on the AI you already pay for. Connect your coding agent and it keeps the record itself — 1,000 updates a month, one project, no card. It doesn’t write your code, and it doesn’t resell you tokens. You pay for more room to work in.

Prices in US dollars. Yearly plans are billed once a year. No card is needed to start free. The 14-day trial asks for one, and you aren’t charged until it ends. Credits track what each AI action costs to run, so bigger jobs use more: a short task description takes a fraction of a credit, while breaking down a large epic can take several.

The free plan

Where free stops.

Your agent gets 1,000 updates a month. That is a working month for most people, and it covers the part that matters — tasks created, decisions captured, commits linked to the work they came from.

When you reach it, writing pauses until the first of the month. Reading never does. Nothing is deleted, nothing is locked, and the record you already have stays yours to read and export.

The two real limits are one project, and no background AI — the summaries, breakdowns and estimates ezmodo writes on its own. Everything else on the free plan is the product.

Questions

The ones peopleactually ask.

What counts as an agent update?

Anything your agent creates or changes — a task, an epic, a decision, a linked commit. Looking things up doesn’t count, so an agent reading your project for context never draws on the allowance. The cap resets on the first of each month.

Whose AI does this run on?

Yours, for the work. ezmodo connects to the coding agent you already pay for, over MCP, and that agent does the building — those updates are never metered. ezmodo doesn't write code. What its own AI does is work on the record: describing a task, breaking an epic into pieces, estimating a schedule, suggesting what blocks what, and writing the plain-language account of how something behaves. That's the background AI each plan counts, in credits. A credit is a tenth of a cent of what that AI costs to run, so a short task description takes a fraction of one and a detailed breakdown takes a few. Pro includes 2,500 a month, Premium 4,000, and Team and Enterprise 3,000 for each paid seat. The allowance renews on the 1st of every month (UTC), and unused credits don't carry over. If you need more on Pro or Team, AI Boost adds 2,000 credits a month for $10, and you can add it more than once. Running out never stops your agent: that path isn't metered at all.

What happens when I hit a limit?

You stop being able to add more of that one thing until you upgrade or the month resets. Your data is untouched and stays readable and exportable. Hitting the agent-update cap pauses writing only — reading carries on.

Can I switch plans whenever I want?

Yes. Upgrading charges a prorated amount for the rest of the billing period and takes effect immediately. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

Is there a trial?

Pro, Premium and Team come with 14 days free. Starting the trial asks for a card, and nothing is charged until the 14 days are up — cancel before then and you pay nothing. The free plan isn’t a trial at all: it needs no card and has no expiry.

Personal or team — which one am I?

Personal plans are for one person. Team plans add seats, shared projects and roles. They’re separate workspaces with separate billing, and you can have both — a personal workspace of your own alongside any team you’re a member of.
